  Somewhere in South Korea, a boat carrying school children for an excursion on one of the country's islands and the unfortunate happened and the it capsized. The education minister quietly and politely resigned over the accident for simple reason that he has failed his country for such an accident happened under his ministry. No African, no Ghanaian minister will ever resign in cases like this and to go and chop what ? Mr minister, let the investigations flow but after it what next? No one will be held responsible not even you and the accident will recur and the cycle will be repeated.

  This story is absolutely false. The BECE started on Wednesday and not Tuesday as alleged. The minister should not waste his time on this misreporting.

  It will be unfair to the students to have them write their final exams after a motor vehicle accident. These students were already traumatized by the accident and I don’t see why they could have taken their exams under such circumstances. The ministry of education and the WAEC should make special arrangements for these students to take the exams without them having to wait till next year .
