Initially, it appeared the referee did not blow the whistle but the assistant referee misled him into that shameful decision. So, the stench must be on both the ref and his assistant. It was an obviously horrible decision that one cannot call it an error. It was open robbery. No one should ever say that Kumssi fc won the match or the f.a. cup. The cup was just handed to them.

Meanwhile Accra fc should do serious overhaul and come back much, much different from team from rubbish, amateurish football they exhibited this season.

This is a club which needs no sympathy anytime they loose a game under error made referees because for them anytime they are awarded such penalties its always scandalous, dubious and armed robbery-like.

From the angle of the event captured by the video, it appeared that the goalkeeper dived at the legs of the attacking Kotoko player, and made contact with the player's legs at the same time that his hands touched the ball. The situation left a lot of room for discretion, but I think the referees decision was a very reasonable one under the circumstances.
