Does Hon. Ablakwa consult with the ministry directorate before issuing statements on public platforms? Evacuations of citizensfrom troubled spots in most country systems start with a risk assessment, travel advisories, notice of voluntary depatures and then government sponsored evacuations in case of stare majore.

A lot of countries have been giving travel advisories to its citizens in the middle east, especially Iran and Isreal in the past 3-4 weeks. I never heard that from Ghanaian officials. Then about a week ago there were threats of a possible outbreak of violence between Isreal and Iran, reasons the USA, UK and other countries started asking non-essential diplomatic staff (and its expatriate citizens) to leave those countries, especially to leave Iran.

Where was the Ghana foreign ministry in all this? Apparently missing in action.
Now, the government according to the minister Ablakwa, is going to evacuate our citizens; an expensive venture whereas proactive advisories and planning could have saved the ministry and government money (considering the budgetary implications).
