Beautiful country with numbskull leaders. If kids are foing for a morning jog, who is their PE/gym teacher? Who told the kids to cross the river? This is not an army training for desert storm. Cadet is to instill discipline, not to train kids for achiase jungle warfare..foolish leaders. Your stuoidity is what has brougjt this to these innocent kids. Have you seen any form of cadet in any g7 high school? I went to a catholic high school in Toronto, no cadet. We has soccer, football, baseball, debate, track and other teams and associations for students. Why are there cadets in high schools in Ghana and what purpose do they serve? For these kids to join the army or police force or to seek employment in private security companies? When humans act like robots and don't massage their brain, examine what others are doing. They follow the herd, blindly. Why Ghana is even part of waec is a problem for me. 70yrs of independence you cant manage your kids school curriculum and education policy? This stupid education minister with his head like paga public latrine gyimifuo. Hat new ideas are tou bringing to ghana education? Nothing! Can't Ghana regulate and manage its own curriculum and exams for its own kids schooling, education devoid of waec involvement? Why do we have primary and jhs kids struggling to write ÷xams like their lives depend on it? It's so stupi# and funny enough these numbskull leaders dont see anything wrong with this..the only major exams for gh kids should be written in shs to get into technical school, colle or university of the students choice. From ]rimary to jhs the kids should pass through the mill on a pass or fail program.in Canadian schools, it's a policy to pass kids and advance them to the next grade if they have a 50 or 51 percent. Inf!CT, teachers are even reprimanded for not passing the kids from one grade to the next

What probe and from who??? Kids traversing on such unsafe boats to school is indeed as a result of a failed state.
Next time I pray it happens to the big men so that the needed attention will be given. What a shame

100 percent right Christine. The UK minister of education was made to resign for sending HER kids to private school instead of public school. Nothing public works in Ghana. Public housing doesn't even exist. As for public toilets it takes party people to fight over them immediately after elections. Public transport is like a ghost. You can't see it very well. Public schools are a disgrace. And we have allowed these useless politicians to run this nonsensical filth for over 32 years!! Democracy indeed!

Godwin, learn to read properly, the article taled about cadets and NOT just students. This therefore has nothing to do with the PT/physical trainer or teacher.

Cadets...?? Teens. Who the fcuk was supervising them. Why no life vests? I remember in augusco our cadets had guns (not sure if there were bullets in them). But for teens cadet jog crossing a river some idiot should have trained them in swimming first. Let's not treat our shs cadets as military people. Some of them are in there just because they want to escape scrapping washrooms in dorms.
