I was happy to see the Ya Na visit the seat of government, however, the speech of the king was full of praises for Mahama government and none of the critical issues facing his community. Could it be that Dagbon is problem free? I expected the king to have mentioned the problems facing his community and asked upon the government to help. I can think about conflicts in parts of the region, floods, cost of living, growing drug abuse in the northern region, school drop outs due to poverty and social pressure, maternal mortality, and more. It was disappointing that the kings speech did not identified a single problem or request for solution to any.
