  "...PROPERLY TRAINING JUDGES TO UNDERSTAND MINING LAWS," said the Honorable Western Regional Minister. That statement shows his mindset. That Regional Minister must be forced to resign and be relocated very far away from the Western Region. It is so sad. If he is still at post, then he did express the intent of the NDC government of Mahama which has no intention to do anything about illegal mining in Ghana.

  Think Mr Nelson like what Kwame Nkrumah did for the region.

  The government must be ashamed of itself. How can this activity be taking place openly and on a large scale, and yet the government can't seem to be able to arrest these evil bastards and keep them from continuing with their destructive ways? Instead of these useless paramount chiefs destooling crooked chiefs who engage in galamsey, they should be having those crooked galamsey chiefs arrested and prosecuted.
