Exactly the point my friend, I don't actually know the reasoning behind this mindset of jumping this innocent kid by the parents and especially the school authorities who should know better. Children must go thru phases of educational development step by step to experience these key growth ladders in school, so what would happen to the academic lessons he skipped in those classrooms, these blunders shouldn't be encouraged at all.

Education is not only about intellectual capacity, our kids needs to go through the system to obtain wisdom. Every stage has its own wisdom you acquire. Breaking records are good, but this also matters.

We have had and continue to have such rare talents, yet, we must ran to IMF & World Bank for almost every social infrastructure needed in Ghana and Africa.
It is highest time we sit up with our talents.

This story may not be true in its entirety. He didn't go to JHS so how did he get assessed for class work which is part of the BECE results? Unless some irregularity was involved. If he did the normal course then it means he started class 1 when he was one year old. You don't have to assume that he had accelerated promotions because he hadn't mentioned it. If that was it, he would have mentioned it. Sakumono Holy Child Basic won't admit anyone less than 5 years to Class 1. Only ghanaweb has such stories. They don't check anything to publish.

Really? I took the Common Entrance Exams at 9 (In Class 5) and had 274, a very good mark at the time, but my family thought I was too small to for the Secondary School even though the School put up every effort for me to come. It was after another 3 years that I was allowed to go.
I even passed the second at 10 years old.

I brought my grandson to UK at the age of eight and he was in primary one but here he was admitted to year four based on his age.
He struggled a bit but now at the ten,he's gained admission to one of the best secondary schools in UK (Brompton Manor Academy).
My point is instead of these private schools milking parents and guidance while delaying these kids, enrolment should be age based. At the age of eighteen every child should have completed sixth form and ready for university or pursue apprenticeship.

Adisadel College and lies? Why is it that any funny person who wants to be relevant and claims to have entered the Secondary School at a very young age is a male? Why is it only Adisadel College? In the past we were told that Alan Kyeremateng went to Adisadel College at age 9.Spin Garbrah also went to Adisadel College at age 9 and half. And this boy also at age what? Why are all males? And why always Adisadel. Why not Mfanstsipim? Why not my own St Augustines College? Why not Achimota? Something is wrong with the mental faculties and people may need Psychiatric treatment. Nonsense
