This is so wrong and crazy, and nothing short of abuse of power and state terrorism. If GRA procures a service contract and there is anything untoward with the contract, be it that it was single sourced and/or there are performance deliverable shortfalls, or value-added issues, how can issues be picked with the contractor and not the contractee, which is GRA. Why all these Rambo-style tactic by the government and state actors. What has happened our rule of law and procedure? I can only bow my head in shame and sadness.

"The GRA, in 2017, requested approval from the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) on three separate occasions to handpick SML for a contract using the single source procurement method.

On all three occasions, the PPA denied the approval, stating that the company did not have any track record in the services it was being engaged to perform."

The GRA was forced by the powers that be to give the contracts to SML.

If the contractor has nothing to fear or to hide , or any underground deal with the awardees then what is he problem?
