Senegalese are Senegalese first, Africans second. Why not address them directly by name? After all the record shows that England played against Senegal, NOT Africa. It also suggests that although Senegal beat us, no other team in Africa has beaten us. QUESTION: What does this have to do with other teams.

Ghanaians who chose to denigrate Nigerian football has never beaten any top European football nation, be it a friendly or competitive game. Ghanaians should come out and tell the world they've ever done so anytime. Despite the old and moribund period period when Ghana won African Cup at a time when participating teams were just 8 or 12 in number, those Cups could no longer be regarded as true Championship trophy today when 32 African countries are in contest for the same Cup. It's been more than four decades Ghana has struggled to win it again without success. Ghana should refocus on their failures and stop undermining Nigeria in any competition. Comoros Island, Cape Verdes & Niger defeats are a worry and a dent to your football credentials and very disgraceful level of your football history and should worry you and not about Nigeria.

But since you are here, let me tell you, no one wants to take away your victory against Spain or the Africa Cup of Nations, which you last won 13 years ago. Sadly, that is no longer relevant in today's football, just like our four Afcon trophies from 40 years ago. We Ghanaians know this and do not deny it. But the question is: is that good enough for the biggest country in Africa? This is about intercontinental recognition, and you only get that by establishing yourself and playing well at a World Cup. Normally, a country the size of Nigeria should be representing the African continent well internationally or even competing at the top, but you are not, and if you continue to focus on the statements of Ghanaians on Ghanaweb, where you have no business being, you will never improve. You can be happy about the victory over Ghana at the Unity Cup and at the Chan, but you should never forget that when it comes down to it, we will always beat you!!!! see you at the World Cup
