Sometimes I feel so ashamed and downhearted that we have people like this Asafo Adjei in our parliament. No right-thinking properly educated African would deny the Sahrawis - or for that matter, any oppressed people in the world their right to independence. Nobody was surprised about Akuffo Addos disgraceful position during his Presidency, to deny the Sarhawis their Independence because even in our own country, their antecedents, led by Busia, attempted to convince the British colonial govt from granting us our Independence. Today we are merely lucky that we have a principled progressive govt that is leading the country back to the aura of respect that Ghana once enjoyed so let all right-thinking Ghanaians give them our maximum support for the benefit of our current generation and our posterity.

Morocco can't forcefully claim Western Sahara when the people there want autonomy. Under the auspices on the UN and the AU a referendum should be held to deteremine what the people of Western Sahara want.
