Now that TOR is operational and our gold reserves keep increasing and our Cedi gaining some global strength, do we still need this paltry $77million from the Swiss for "Ghana Cooperation Programme"?
Switzerland is the land and bank of all stolen cash and monies and President Mahama and his administration should be watchful in all the dealings with them.

We don't. They are trying to buy influence. If they really wanted to make a difference they would have come to build chocolate factories in the country. You see THEY NEED US MORE THAN WE NEED THEM. All these their shenanigans won't work anymore. We have seen their playbook. Anytime an African country begins to do so well economically they start to bombard with aid and grants to derail the leaders' focus and influence. Aside the apparent innate incompetency of the erstwhile government, the Westerners did it to them in their first term "Ghana Beyond Aid". We are all wide awake now. It just won't work. We Africans know what we are worth. I wonder why they didn't send the grant when Ghanaians were really suffering, but now that things have started to look up they want to send aid. Cloak and dagger move!

The black man lacks self respect and integrity. What is USD 77 million to a nation over a period of 4 years (which amounts to 19.25 million dollars per year). Are we so poor to the extent that we can't generate 19.25 million dollars per year? They come and give us peanuts and we are extremely grateful for their "kind gesture".

I am sure a greater part of that money will be used on wasteful expenditures such as workshops, seminars and conferences and the payment of per diems. Hardly anything will go to help the poor.
