Infact players like Ronaldo Luis Nazario Da Lima, Cruyff, Zidane are all above him. He is a top player but definitely nowhere near the goat status.

the dunderheads, Ronaldo is the best of all time behind Pele from Brazil. Some of you lack wisdom to understand the metrics in determining who is better in terms of quality and achievements. You keeps bringing up Messi against Ronaldo without taking into consideration the league they both played in and the goals scored. Ronaldo is the star of the game with several millions supporting him than any player on planet earth. Messi won more awards than Ronaldo due to the south and Central Americans votes which Ronaldo never gets despite his stellar performance in those years that Messi won. Spanish speaking countries will never support any candidate that competes against one of their own. Therefore, you cannot compare the sham awards that Messi won to tell intelligent people like us that Messi is the goat. Messi deserves some of the awards without doubt, but majority was skewed towards him. Even the World Cup he won was skewed because Argentina was supposed to loose the game against the Netherlands in the semifinals and France in the final.

Christiano Ronaldo is no where near the GOAT badge. He has been a liability in the Portuguese team since the 2022 World cup- short one, but the Portuguese Coach seems afraid of discharging him and the arrogant CR7 wouldn't recluse himself from the National team because he is looking for records to break, more like our Dede Ayew, who don't know their time is up.

CR7 just uses gra-gra to score cheap goals since his return to Man united in 2020 till date. Even the tap-in goal against Spain occurred after he pushed away Cucurella- the Spanush defender but the Referee failed rule out the goal for infringement. He should retire and give the young star-studded Portuguese real chance to win the World Cup next year.
