Those cases were investigated but no charges were made. For the few which charges were made, the AG was in court for 7 years without securing a conviction. It is clear most of the cases were trumped up cases.

(2) Rather, adequately resource and strengthen the capabilities of already existing anti-corruption agencies, like the Audit Service, Attorney-General’s Office, EOCO, Police CID and the NIB (BNI) to fight corruption;
(3) Then appoint competent and honest people to governing boards and management positions of state institutions, to help prevent corruption; and
(4) Stop appointing just any party apparatchik, friend or family member to these positions as rewards for loyalty, or as the appropriation of spoils of war.
