It is serious. The laws passed in parliament are not being enforced on the ground. The recent 15% decrease in transport fares announced by the transport minister was not effected. Drivers only reduced their fares by a flat rate of 50 pesewas accross board. Whose duty it is to enforce. Now drivers are charging any amount and have resorted to go only short distances at exhorbitant fare to maximise their returns in some routes. For example for long distance from Medina to Kasoa it is broken into Madina to Lapas, Lapas to Mallam, Mallam to Kasoa etc segmenting their trips The speaker of parliament, Parliament Sub Committee on Transport, Transport unions and leadership of Transport operators should come to the grounds to enforce bye laws, national laws passed and approved in parliament. Parliament is becoming a spent force, collecting their allowances and monthly salary nothing really is workings. Lets send some of the bye laws against street hawking, forceful occupation of road infracsture, quadrants, kerbs, pavements. Walkways, medians all over the country in the main national laws instead of being bye laws sitting in the books of MMDA's who are not able to enforce. Again less attention on political trials. There are serious developmental, social, economic issues to reset wholißically than on political trials such as removal of a CJ. Parliament must do more on bringing discipline into the system. Too much of blame game and politics.

Afenyo should stop fooling people by pretending to be smart . Politics is not about attacking and damaging one’s opponents. It is about pooling of ideas that will benefit the country. However if politicians see their positions as cash cows and resort to corruption to enrich themselves at the detriment of the citizens, that is where the upright politicians stand up to defend what is right by confronting the corrupt politicians. Afenyo and his party gurus cannot avoid prosecution by this government for the financial crimes committed against the country. This is not witch hunting . This is called accountability.
