  Our judges, who come from amongst the community are trained to believe that a street criminal who shoot and kill one or two people deserves to die because there's a cause and effect that is easily proven.
  
  What we all fail to realize is the danger posed by the insidious and deadly drip-drip effect on society that kills more people. What the business man did affected more people in the community. We also know that lack of adequate water or access to water can lead to uncleanliness, various health issues, dehydration due to inadequate water intake etc which slowly but silently kill people. Our failure to link intended consequences to white-color crimes results in slap on the wrist punishment that enables us to commit more white color crimes with impunity.
