It's funny how countries that don't have a single gold mine rather refine gold like Dubai, etc.

This is the opposite of Ibrahim Traore. Kweku Duah and his European masters are controlling this. The Gold Council is the boss using Kweku Duah and his son with unsharpened teeth.

Our presidents are always in the pockets of the world bank and IMF looking for money that they can find right here at home. I don't know if Ghana is the sixth largest producer of gold in the world but if it's true then we are doomed because nations with far far less or none are doing wonders.

Thank u Mr president but this is long overdue..I don’t know why the leaders in Ghana cannot be bold enough to confront this nonesense going on in our country..how the hell do u allow a foreign company just to come and steal gold and other natural resources that belongs to Ghanaians and send it away freely..whatever that they are going to use it to do abroad, why don’t u let them do it right here in Ghana..value addition to our natural resources is a must..there must not be any negotiation..build gold refinery in every region that has gold mines..Turn the gold into finished products like jewelry, watches, necklaces etc..industrialization is the #3 major challenge out of the 5 major problems in Ghana..so by building these refineries, u are industrializing the economy..the mining laws needs to changed ..before a mining company is giving a license or permit, there must be a law where they will partner with the govt to establish a refinery at the community where the mining will be taking place..this is not rocket science..Ghana politicians wake up ooo..this is common sense

All these you are talking about requires massive demand of electricity and that's what Ghana doesn't have.
