The Ghana foreign minister and his team have down their investigations and as a result the entire former personnel at the US Ghana embassy has been recalled and replaced with new folks. What physics or electronic evidence are these parliamentarians going to see or verify? They must be dissuaded from going to the US as this travel looks very opportunistic and waste of public funds. If they want more information on the scandal, call the Ghana FM to brief parliament. The professional and support staff at the foreign affairs ministry are content collecting wages/salaries and perks without developing their respective mental capacity to think outside the box. Yes they will backstab each other if there's an offer by the ministry for some to travel to our embassies or consulates in any of the western developed nation for work or pleasure just as long as the trip is on a government dime. No amount of classroom training will teach the kind of wisdom that comes with experience and builds foresight. The DC website has been a sham since 2018. Those with training or basic knowledge on technology finds problems at the website. Then there's the problem of reaching anyone on the phone. The staff at our embassies and consulates around the world believe Ghanaians in the diaspora should travel to the offices if they need help; it's never their duty to answer incoming calls. Their mailboxes are always full denying callers the opportunity to leave messages. Love for country has never been an aspiration of majority Ghanaian since the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah. Today Ghanaians are proud of their tribe and political party affiliation; no wonder migration patterns follow the political party in power in Ghana.
