I am not amazed in any way but I am clear in my mind the constituents of these walk-out MPs did not elect their MPs into Parliament to misconduct themselves. These are clearly irresponsible nation wreckers. Akufo Addo asked the OSP to investigate Prez Mahama. This exercise went through without any concert. If today, Wontumi, who, with Akufo Addo as backcloth, brazenly entered our forest reserves and destroyed flora and fauna, turned our water bodies into poison is being asked to account for his actions, how dare these little minority obstacles in Parliament say they will not agree. Look, get these dishonourable members listed and every day they refuse to show up for work, get them punished by deducting from their monthly compensation. At any rate, they are not parliamentarians but saboteurs. The huge majority in Parliament will work without them.

If NPP is serious about getting back into power and contribute toward the development of our country they should stop protecting criminality of their party members. Be fair and not use double standards and hypocrisy as their main tool of propaganda.
Can any one of the NPP members vouch that the Chairman never involved in any criminality? Galamsey, money laundering, tax evasion, illegal possession of fire arms etc.....whats wrong with EOCO initiating an investigation based on the intelligence and evidence they have?
Did we all applaud when the NPP government stormed into Aisha Hwang home at night and arrested all of her family members and jailed them without bail until trial?
In this case the bail conditions has been set. If the NPP believe that the Chairman is innocent, the whole party doesn't have anyone who is willing to stand in as a surety? The whole party doesn't have a mere 50 million Ghana Cedis? Even a sanitation minister were having a few million USD in her bedroom.
This hypocrisy and stupidity must stop if they are serious about winning elections. Sure the party benefited financially from the Chairman regardless how he obtained his money legally or otherwise. But most Ghanaians got nothing in the past 8 years. Many even lost lots of money due to the debt exchange and cedis depreciation.
While the politicians are looting and enjoying, the rest of us are suffering. Even the grass root NPP members did not get the cake they deserved.
Now that these NPP politicians have back into opposition with all the money they acquired when they were in power, their mentality is still about protecting themselves without any regard to the rest of the Ghanaians and their foot soldiers.

An Outsider’s History of the Fall of Rome (W.W. Norton), a quote
"Stars may move and crops may grow, the Roman poet Claudian wrote, but a moral fog clouds the world. The only predictable parts of life, for the most accomplished court poet of Italy in the fifth century AD, were corruption, a lack of accountability, and a collapse of the constitutional willpower needed to solve large-scale problems, such as the granting of citizenship for Rome’s newcomers. ‘Criminals are heroes,/Decent men, harassed."
I dare say there is a collapse of the constitutional willpower to solve large-scale problems in Ghana, such as "galamsey". And why is that: Corruption, corruption and corruption and lack of moral accountability. Some of these so-called leading politicians are engaged in the crime of galamsey, hence their inability and unwillingness to stop it. The whole country is a crime scene.
