If Ghana wants to use the tolls as a revenue generating tool then Ghanaians must be willing to contribute their fair share towards our economic recovery. All vehicles cannot be subject to the same toll. Private vehicles should pay the one cedi toll but passenger vehicles must pay at least two or three cedis. The long VIP buses should not be paying the same toll as the private cars . Secondly this tolls should go directly into bank of Ghana account or any reliable government established accounts which will be immune from thievery. The old system of toll collection did not benefit Ghana because those in charge of the tolls stole most of the money. We need to reset the country. These toll booth should be serviced by people with disabilities to serve as a means of employment for disabled.

You condemned and made mockery of it, while in opposition. You had the opportunity to take a shot at it during your previous tenure, 2012 – 2014, but you lost that opportunity because of lack of imagination and lacklustre attitude fuelled by greed. A lot of the linkages to harmonise and integrate the data of NIA with that of other state and some private institutions have been reported as already been done, while others are on-going. Some of these institutions are: DVLA, Banks, Telcos, GRA, Registrar-General’s Dept, SSNIT, Controller & Accountant-General’s Payroll, Lands Commission, Births & Deaths Registry, NHIA, MoH, Scholarships Secretariat, MoE, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Police Service, ECG, and Ghana Water Company. Acknowledge that anything out of this exploit, going forward, is an inheritance from the hard work of the previous government.

So my question is, how about if one provide his momo a/c to them and never transfer money on to that particular momo a/c, while this same person hasn't got a bank a/c, how are they going to retrieve the money? Also how are they going to retrieve the money from foreigners that do not have the GC but uses crosses the bridge?
