How could anyone in Ghana's legal profession assert and justify that the judiciary is truly co-equal to the executive and legislative branches of government under the NPP majority government of Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia? From the start, Akufo-Addo who held himself out as a lawyer has yet to provide his own certification.

Godfred Dame, a 2nd rate lawyer practicing out of the Akufo-Addo chamber is appointed and approved by an NPP majority in parliament most of whom can hardly be described as people with principles, moral compass or with love for country. The appointment of Araba Torkonoo was not based on merit but who can carry water for misfits hell bent on state capture and neutering all state institutions to enable the establishment of Agyapadie.

To say the judiciary or the legal profession in Ghana is in disrepute is to be mild; the micro minority NPP holding themselves as lawyers continue to help their criminal NPP clients to make a mockery of the judicial process. Where in a civilized democratic nation would a mob be allowed to invade an area identified as a potential crime scene by state security agency operations but Ghana as the NPP roam wild and free? Lawyers with regard for law and order should know their role and the potential for crime scene contamination, interference and aiding and abetting crimes if the NPP is going to hamper court sanctioned operations.
