This matter is very simple. Okudjeto talked himself into a corner here. Politics being the way we do it in Ghana, he will simply squeeze his way out. But his credibility will no doubt be damaged. He was categorical. He said he WOULD resign.

In this context, is Ntim Fordjour saying the Vice-President should walk home after the Akufo Addo administration had abandoned the presidential jet and even refused to service it or is he saying she should come home on a commercial aircraft when she had just been discharged from hospital? At any rate, Akufo Addo rented the most luxurious crafts only to go and borrow money. Fordjour has no moral rights to ask the questions he is asking. His constituents must recall him. He is a twerp.
