Allegedly, Adu Boahen used the stolen loot to acquire numerous properties mainly in Ghana. Every right thinking citizen would support the AG. However, since then Adu Boahen has been mainly detained in custody & appearing in court. The AG, has been ordered to provide the court with witness statements to aid the prosecution case. However, the AG, has failed to provide any witness statements. The question should be put to the AG, why is it so difficult for him to provide witness statements to the court? Adu Boahen has maintained his innocence from the beginning & claims that the alledged stolen funds were used for National Security purposes? Personally, I have no idea whether Adu Boahen is guilty or not. He claims that the money he is alledged to have stolen was used for National Security purposes & that he maybe forced to disclose further details during the trial. Adu Boahen is facing years in jail & so what do you expect him to do? The AG, should stop playing games & provide witness statements to support his prosecution case. Let us who are following this case hear the factual evidence in court.
