Ghanaian politicians are not serious with the fight against galamsey because their party members are making money out of the illegal mining activities in the country.. Very soon, the illegal miners will destroy most forest reserves and water bodies in the country because the rate of forest destruction is far higher than the rate of stopping galamsey in the country. Politicians are joking with the fight against galamsey and nothing will stop the miners because they have realized that the politicians are not serious with the fight against galamsey
