There are too many people involved. The MPP must shut up because they are the cause of most of the problems the country faces. Corrupt people and party should forfeit their right to comment on national issues.

  The lackadaisical measures so far being taken is laughable---a simple solution to STOP this GALAMSEY MENACE is to enact a LAW to BAN any Small Scale Mining [BOTH LEAGL & ILLEGAL] activity entirely for a foreseeable period -say some 5-6 years to allow the devastated agricultural land and the Water bodies back to LIFE---before lifting such the BAN LAW to allow for a safer responsible Small Scale Mining operations again .Meanwhile a serious afforestation exercise must be undertaken to get the devastated vegetation ,Forest Reserves and the Water Bodies back to LIFE.---[all back to a healthy unpolluted state]
  Let the gold remain underground undisturbed until a safer environmental friendly method is designed to win the gold by any small scale mining technique.
  This is where I question the establishment of the GOLDBOD ENTERPRISE.---the concept behind the GOLDBOD enterprise may be prudent but the timing is premature.---the gold coming from any small scale mining venture at this time of fighting the GALAMSEY MENACE will be counter-productive. Good advice is to put the GOLBOD operation on HOLD---deploy SAMMY GYAMFI to manage the Tree Planting program to a successful end---with the Agriculture Land and Water bodies back to LIFE, the GOLBOD operation can then be resurrected.--WATER is Priceless not the gold --PLANT is LIFE ;WATER is LIFE not the gold.
  So if the GOLDBOD ENTERPRISE establishment is not a ruse --a sleazy scheme to amass wealth for JMD. SAMMY GYAMFI and the NDC Party please suspend -[halt] the start of its operation.
  Revoking the LI2462 won't effectively STOP the GALMSEY MENACE----To effectively STOP the GALAMSEY MENACE--the solution is upon the PARLIAMENT of GHANA---PARLIAMENT must enact a LAW to BAN any Small Scale Mining for a foreseeable period.--Violation of the BAN must attract serious penalty even death sentence by FIRING SQUAD; both citizens and non-citizens must face equal punishment.--As exists in some countries in ASIA , Drug [Narcotic ]Trafficking attracts severe sentences most times death penalty--it is a deterrent and it works.
  So it is over to the President to ask his Parliamentarians to ENACT the BAN LAW if he is serious about STOPPING the GALAMSY MENACE----and to the public at large let the Protest marches be directed at Parliament to ENACT a LAW to BAN any form of Small Scale Mining in the interim.
  The Media , Civil Societies, Religious organizations , Professional Organizations , TUC,--Student Associations --etc --MUST ALL JOIN in --
  direct the Pressure on Parliament to do the needful ---PASS the LAW to save GHANA from this EXISTENTIAL THREAT of the GALAMSEY MENACE which-- is killing all slowly and softly. Either the Parliamentarians are clueless or sheer wicked --so it is up to the public to pressure them to live up to their responsibility.--If the past Hung Parliament could waste precious time to PASS an ANTI-GAYISM BILL------such a harmless Deviant Sexual Behavior ----may I ask what is wrong with them --? This GALAMSEY MENACE effect so glaring all over--the devastation--desecration of the agricultural land --the muddy polluted Water bodies--I am asking once more are the Parliamentarians clueless or just IGNORANT LOT and WICKED.

You were in power for eight (8) good years under your belt and couldn’t addressed or solve the most pressed issues, and you are here talking bullshit about a government of barely five (5) months old. I personally vouched for a group of honest military officers to rule Ghana without any bloodshed. This beautiful country needs to be reset. No traditional ruler should be entitled to claim ownership of land. Every land should belong to the state with transparency.
