Asantes started calling for a federal system of governance when they realized that, their resources rod cocoa was been used to developed other part of Ghana rather than their own!

@Wise, let me clear the issue. Nana Kwadwo Aduhene, succeeded Nana Kofi Ahenkorah ,who ruled Sefwi Wiawso State from 1945 -1952. Nana Kwadwo Aduhene was enstooled as the Omanhene from 1952-1996. Kwaku Duah, stayed with him from 1964 for five years. The Omanhene was not a politician. Now, the MP for Sefwi Wiawso consistuency from 1956-1965 was called William Kwabena Aduhene. He was the adviser to Nkrumah not the Omahene. These are facts. Cheers!
