I dare say there's a big difference between those who truly seek to serve and those who seek rule even if they become presidents. One can compare the rule of Nkrumah and the likes of Busia. In recent times one can compare presidency of the likes of Former Obama and current President Trump. In our own local settings one can compare the presidency of President Mahama and Former President Nana-Addo. The difference is clear.for all to see. If a good president leads the people rejoice but when a bad president leads the majority of the people cry. The pettiness and vindictive nature of the astute business tycoon and politician makes him an undesirable candidate. A good candidate should be forgiving but firm, kind but not soft, a unifier, able to laugh at him or himself and should always be able to look at the bigger picture. I dare say there's a striking similarity between Obama and Mahama. As a compliment rather than a flaw both are often called comedians.
