Unless the notes were in 50 denomination, which I doubt, the total amount should be more than 800 because the count times were more than ten times excluding the bundle she took from him. By Sammy's action, he has rendered Mahama's code of ethics against corruption already unpopular, meaning no one will take Mahama's government serious if he's allowed to maintain his position as head of the GOLDBOD.

To me, Sammy Gyamfi is on the verge of damaging his political career in the eyes of well meaning Ghanaians and the president must act quickly to salvage him, that's only if there's any way to do so.

I like Sammy Gyamfi a lot. It is a shame that he fell into the Fetish priestess set up. Aspects of his initial response did not sit well with many. However, he has shown so much remorse for his indiscretion for what would have been an admirable benevolent but for the denomination/quantum and the recipient plus the recipient attitude.

Although I completely understand many sympathizers (not the NPP folks) who felt hurt, I would plead that let’s forgive Sammy Gyamfi and hopefully he learns.

Sammy’s intent may be very good but indiscretion messed up everything.

As for the NPP and and their apparatchiks, the least said of them the better!
