The constitution allows for continuity. A political party may stay in power forever if the people so choose every 4 years.

COMPETENCE......
Competence is(should be) attributed to a party not the leader. It's a collective effort. Why ask for only 3 terms when the PARTY can have forever if the people so choose.
The over reliance on an individual must NOT be encouraged.
The current constitution is right on this matter. Don't create a problem where there's none.

He also controls Parliament through his political party so long as he has a comfortable majority. This is not the same in the countries like UK or Germany where there are no term restrictions.

The only powers Ghanaians have over the Presidency are the ability to vote him out after 4 years, and the 2 term restrictions. In countries like the UK or Germany, a bad President can easily be removed without having to wait for 4 years. This is almost impossible in Ghana.
Don't make such foolish suggestions please. Don't even go there.
