However, unknown to Rawlings, Akufo-Addo harboured a deep hatred for him and was looking for an opportunity to remove him from his path in order to execute his looting agenda. Nyaho-Tamakloe makes the same complaints about Ghana that we have heard several times but never makes any concrete suggestions as to how to solve these problems. He says several times Ghana deserves good leaders but never says where those leaders will come from.

The book is very badly edited. There are even a few factual errors. It’s boring reading the same platitudes, exhortations and homilies without any proper analyses.

The man surely has a story to tell but poor editing makes the book tedious to book. This story should have been effectively told in a book a third of the size. The nearly 800 pages is just too much!
