Yes, makes sense but ultimately it won't make a difference.
The appointed minister will always do the bidding of the president, whether he/she is an MP or not.

It will make a huge difference because parliamentarians will focus on their jobs and not become bats, (animals or birds lol)

MPs common fund must be discontinued. It should go to the constituenct directly. The current arrangement is deceptive.

I second that motion. You are 100% right. Parliament must not serve as an appendage of the executive

These are core points to separate powers and ensure pure check and balances in true democratic governance. Legislature playing executive role at the same time is very confusing. To ensure modern democracy, many amendments must be done to the existing constitution which has many loop holes and damaging many institutions. President has too much powers, electoral commission must be represented by all parties and be reviewed constantly, juries must be selected from the people to ensure true judgement, and many many… to sustain our democracy.

EXECUTIVE BE PART OF LEGISLATIVE
Let think deep about this role carefully. Gov't linked with parliament would help in making law that will facilitate govt policy formulation.

It'll take Justin Frimpong Kodua the general secretory of the conglomerate of thieves and nation wreckers called the npp to think like this. Put chairman Ntim side by side with chairman general mosquito and you'll be making a mockery of the former. The npp will soon go on comatose. Kudos Fifi for this insightful thinking and i hope the shot callers and policy makers gives this a very serious thought.

I've been raising this point for over two decades ago. Now Fiifi, though very stingy, he's makes a lot of sense. It constitution must be reviewed to reflect his submission.

Isn't it ironic that the party that created this messy constitution is the same party that is actually fighting hard to reform it, while NPP that fought tooth and nail to remove them from power right from the word go- alleging all kinds of misdeeds- only comes to flagrantly enjoy all the goodies that come with the said constitution? That's how evil the descendants of Nkrumah's enemies in Ghana are.

God bless Fifi. Almost everyone is using parliament as a spring board for a Ministrial position which is unacceptable.

People who resort to insults have the the mentality and social skills of a toddler. He can't handle people offering different opinions (being in the presence of greater men than he.)
