I agree with you, Tepahene. Not only cultural identity but also national development and identity. We were richer than most of these south East Asian nations in the past. But look at them now. They all use their own languages and are now making the west shiver with their fast developments. They use their own language for everything. We scorn at people who can’t speak English well but excuse people who can’t speak their own language. The Chinese, Jews, Indians and others teach their children to speak their language in the UK but our people speak their diluted English to their children at home. Always init? init?
