  Some of the provisions are a bit hash to follow thoroughly. For instance, he said an appointee cannot help his family member to get a job in the government sector which might not sit well with many of them. In today’s Ghana, it’s hard to get a job in the public sector without knowing anybody in that sector. People lobby everyday to get jobs into the ministries, agencies and what have you. I hope some scrupulous people will not take advantage of it to aimlessly petition the presidency to remove some appointees from office for any lest thing. In this case, no government will come and employ your relatives if you cannot find them jobs when in government. It shouldn’t be so, but it has been like this for decades. I went through the same hurdles looking for public sector work after school. Because of nepotism, I didn’t get the job eventually, despite my qualifications and skills level which was unmatched compared to my peers.
