  With our politics we are spoiling every state institution.

  I'm at a loss. Having worked in IT procurement, I know that the technical people write the specification of the product needed including configurations if required. This is put out to tender and the same technical people evaluate the tenders and chose the one that responds to the requirements. How then are politicians purchasing meters for ECG? Who receives the meters when they arrive? The same politicians?

  So why can't Ghana produce it's own meters, because some African countries like Nigeria produce their own meters. I will advise the Ghana government to start the productions of meters in Ghana.
