It is always disheartening to read these types of stories that paint us all bad.
There must be some mechanism for tracking/ tracing vin# of vehicles, make and registration with the motor vehicle department before, these vehicles load with the shipping company.

Something does not sound right. I have shipped cars before. They must be titled with all relevant documents authenticated by the state, before loading.
