Who cares?
The president himself is deeply corrupt and cannot be trusted.
His appointees know and do not care a hoot about his 'azaa' directive.

If these appointees have no ulterior motives, they must declare their assets. No body is after what properties that they have prior to taking on their new portfolios . Ghanaians just want honest people who will not use their positions to amass wealth at the expense of the poor working Ghanaians . If Ghana has a robust economy where every Ghanaian is enjoying the wealth of the national cake , Ghanaians will not question the wealth of these government appointees. But it is disgusting to see appointees living opulent lifestyles using national funds and corruption while the average Ghanaian wallows in abject poverty. If President Mahama has declared his assets, then all his appointees must follow suit.
