  Free shs is not the issue but failure to increase the facilities. The short man refused to use the E blocks and also failed to build more blocks for the students.

  Chemu senior secondary school was originally day school. My 4 children attended that with flying colours as day students. The school was originally a primary school. It was turned into a secondary school when there was pressure on Tema secondary school in the 70's to take in only day students. Due to the free shs , some students were brought from other regions as boarders, that forced the Heads to create some space for boarders. Let it reverse to purely a day school because there is not enough space on their land to make it a boarding school.

  In the past some day students lived with relatives and friends of parents far away from home to school and not boyfriends so what has changed?
  
  The headmistress lacks thinking logically and don't deserve her position.

  Chemu Secondary School is a complete Day Secondary school in Tema. Parents who chose Chemu Secondary school came to Tema to rent places for their children. This ls the result of unplanned Free SHS. I have always maintained that Tema metropolis has only One SHS with boarding facility ie Tema Secondary School. There should be enough Day Secondary schools in our districts to cater for Free SHS. Free SHS boarding facility is a privilege and expensive to run. Thank you.
