This is what I call ‘homely’ advise punctuated with ‘……brother’, a very typical and shallow response typical of most Ghanaian politicians etc.
The expectation is that this response from Mr. Boye should be asking for the reason why ‘all’ of those hospital essentials were not in functioning order. The TTH CEO and his cohorts were operating, getting paid for what? How were patients treated? Have the TTH and the GMA been in the news lately about lack of hospital equipments? How and from where did the Minister for Health suddenly get and donate some of the needed items? We can go on and on and on. But, the minister should instead institute a probe of the hospitals, audit whether monies had been paid for the supply of equipments but never got delivered and the Hospital CEOs are sitting down unconcerned. And when they are questioned, these CEOs become combative and play ‘victim’ with the support of their health professionals who gain from undue referrals to their private hospitals and pharmacies. Mr. Okoe Boye, you know the rot in the health sector so stop this useless ‘My Brother’ crap and speak to the how to professionally resolve the issue and hold people accountable.

He accomplished nothing during his tenure as health minister. Apparently, he is jealous of the current health minister who is doing a tremendous job to transform the Ghana health services sector.

Because he has no career exposure outside of politics, some of these small small tips that no teacher can teach you, you can't learn in any book, he doesn't know them. Because politics in Ghana, all they know is confrontation. The problem is, Minister of Health is not a place where you can thrive with confrontation.

Listening to Okoe Boye, you can tell he has life experience which Akandoh does not. There are no short cuts in Life o. You either live it or it will show.

My humble opinion, he should be transferred to a different ministry. He simply will not be able to connect with the doctors across the country going forward. Everytime he goes to a hospital, they will give him the cold shoulder. Watch it. He should just be moved from there.

Can you imagine that I was in the clinic with Consultant (Urologist) when a patient requested for the name tag of my senior colleague (Urologist) to make a report to the Hospital Authority about his prescription just because he has been prescribed the same medication for 3 months and no improvement. I shock my head and exclaimed eeeiii!!!, the patient charter is working here. After the patient left I said to the consultant that in Ghana a patient doesn't have that courage to do so.

What is the purpose of going around with the media and asking the doctors inappropriate questions in the corridors of the hospital .a very foolish attitude.
If he respected them, common sense would tell you that the hospital has a boardroom where you could have gone in with them to find a solution to the issue, but his power-drunk. The four years position is making he thing his God, his so foolish.

Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini is one of the most arrogant MPs I have encountered in recent times. Having served as the MP for his area for so long, he is well aware of the problems facing the hospital but pretends otherwise. Sending media representatives to the hospital and interrogating the CEO in the corridors was an extremely inappropriate display of power on his part. Suhuyini even had the audacity to tell the doctor that the minister is speaking and that he is also speaking, as if the minister's position grants him some sort of academic qualification. Both of them were incredibly rude and foolish that day.
