What we may say the soldiers did wrong was that they tried to force the guy to remove the uniform instead of arresting and taking him to the police, if they suspected him to have committed a crime. But even then looking at the situation I don't think the guy would have even submitted himself to arrest. It is only when security officers are confronted and they have no choice that they shoot. I tell you American police would have killed more of the guys if they are confronted this way.

Yes the dead doesn't talk for real. One day I witnessed a civilian struggling with armed military guy trying to collect his weapon. During the struggle, the military guy had an advantage somehow and punched the civilian hard on his face. The guy fell heavily on the floor and that was it. From where I stood, the civilian didn't try at all by trying to collect the gun from the soldier violently. I would've reacted with same measure for self defense. Should the civilian overpower the soldier and seize his weapon, then that soldier is a real weak soldier and not fit to wear the uniform. I will not dare confront an armed person. The little weight on the trigger and that's the end.

All that the soldiers should have done if even he had broken the law was to arrest him. The soldiers behaved as if they were above the law. Soldiers are there to protect the citizens and not to kill them. So no matter what he was wearing, all that a law abiding soldiers should have done, was to arrest him. The bush African soldiers are always acting above the law. Every soldier duty is to protect the citizens and the country borders from external aggression. In the West soldiers do not come to the town in military uniform and they are all only based at the barracks.
