They were their main points in legal education and he rewarded them.
NDC folks indeed studied the law and practiced with sheer brilliance.
I know some who intentionally did not show their political affiliation because of victimisation.
It was after they were called to the bar that they showed their political affiliation which shocked the NPP. Some of these Nkrumah supporters even attended NPP meetings when they were studying law. I know for sure that some people suspected not to be NPP were targeted and marked down.

Do these aforementioned qualifications have to go and study law to be able to rule or have seats in parliament? Your people didn’t choose you because you were a lawyer, they chose you because they believe in your leadership. They could choose to vote for a carpenter or a hairdresser or nurse or a cook instead. I was at the inaugural conference of TEIN at KNUST Kumasi in 1995 and Mr Agyekum then Ashanti Regional minister lamented that NDC supporters can't talk can't participate freely in activities because they are always being intimidated and insulted. At the time Commodore Griffith son who was a student at KNUST, took to the platform and declared that henceforth as students with sympathies for the NDC we are going to talk to the rapturous acknowledgement of the milling crowd that gathered there including Chairman Rawlings, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Mr PV Obeng, ET Mensah, Alhaji Hudu Yahaya and a host of other dignitaries.

It is time for the NPP bid shots with the money to identify the brilliant young people and sponsor them through Masters and PhD whole in opposition. They shouldn't chop the money alone. This way, the political landscape will grow with trained minds, they can also influence campus political life and prepared for the work ahead. But I know from what I see some saying and the way they argue that it will take time. Inexperience in public office will worry them.

Some examples are Sammy Gyamfi and Prof. Gyampo, Dr. Titus Beyuo, Lawyer Sai Sram, etc. It started with Rawlings, who wanted the men to support his government. This is unlike the NPP, which thinks it has the men.

However, the NPP has forced the NDC to think, and they are beginning to be innovative. Initially, NDC governance was just infrastructure and business as usual.
