Sir, with all due respect, you're talking like a complete hypocrite. Did you listen to the voice if the people when Get-rude Torkonoo was leading the onslaught on the then opposition with the everyday unanimous seven and nine? Didn't the silly seven and naughty nine daily rulings irk you? Did you bat an eyelid? When the public was agitating and questioning those questionable decisions did you come out as a legal luminary to warn the judiciary? Or the layman's views don't matter? What did you say when lawyers (one of whom was my senior in secondary school) and judges were caught collecting goats, kontomle, snails, yams and cassava as bribes to pervert justice? What did you say when AKUFFO addo was packing the supreme Court with known NPP apparatchiks? He did the same with the EC, packing the commission with known NPP communicators, but you all kept quiet. You saw no evil, you heard no evil, you smelt no evil and you felt no evil. Very soon this administration will start purging the EC too of partisan appointments and as sure as the morning rising sun you'll go to town and start beating gongong.

What didn't NPP say about Atuguba. He was even passed for Chief Justice.
The courts must realise the public sentiments in political cases are real and should not take us for granted.
Judgement should not be made to be always protecting one side.
Just listen to these NPP folks shouting confidently, we are going to court, we are going to court, when most of their issues are clearly unjust, and wrong.
Just imagine how confident Cecilia Dapaah and Ofori Atta feels going to court to expose their robbery of the state.
This also does not give confidence in the public about the work of the courts.

Both of you are leaders in the legal field but behave as though you are starting to study law at Legon.
The unfortunate thing is that Asare is not resident in Ghana but is fond of destroying people’s character, name etc with the active support of biased people like Kwesi Pratt, Prof Gyamooh and Prof Kobby Mensah.
All these people ( Prof Asare excluded and Kwesi Pratt through her daughter) in one way or the other have now been appointed to top level govt positions without any surprises which has exposed them as hypocrites because everybody now knows they condemned and criticized people in an effort to catch the attention of the ndc, then in opposition.

Some don't need legal background to understand what has happened in the country Ghana concerning judicial jurisdiction for the past 50 years.
The practicians within the legal Fraternity had a field day because of the ignorance of their compatriots in those years back. Collusions, underhand dealings and extortions among the Bench, the Bar, Prosecutors, State investigating institutions, State attorneys and hosts of allied institutions are fully responsible for the bad situation that the nation finds itself. Perhaps the reason why people like Ansa Asare's prevarications and effusions continue to be either ignored or tolerated.
Come with me:
In the early or mid 1970's as the major News papers- very few then - reported, C.O Mills a National Lottery agent, was involved in a Fraudulent deal amounting to a mind boggling sums of cedis which in current terms could be in the region of more than 20 million cedis. Initial findings left no doubt about the crime been committed.
For the first time, Patriotic Ghanaians had the feeling that justice was going to be done because Ghana was under the Military rule with Colonel then Ignatius Kutu Acheampong as the Head of state and no compromises were to be expected.
The hype was a spectacle to behold especially coming from the then Attorney General, E.N Moore or so. The young were simply excited and awaited anxiously for the outcome.
Nobody ever heard of the case than for the people of Ghana to reach the painful conclusion that it also has become a " FOOOLISH CASE "
Ever since, especially those who were witnesses to these developments and still alive by the good grace of
the Almighty Good Lord are very haunted by Ghana's Judicial Jurisprudence, if only we in the un initiated legal Fraternity are allowed to borrow the term Judicial Jurisprudence to raise our small egos.

Our judiciary is corrupt and the public has no confidence yet the judiciary and the judges. It is very sad and selfish by politicians and lawyers of the NPP to think that the government is against them. They never commented when the previous government abused it's powers and sat unconcerned when judges are threatened doing their job. This CJ served the ex- government so they will defend her, but what is the purpose of the law court if the general public have no confidence or hope for justice in the legal system. Our judges are corrupt, the supreme court is not fit for purpose and needs resetting.

The image of the judiciary and Ghana sank long ago when they made those biased decisions that made birth certificate non proof of nationality to favour one political p6arty; the very day they behaved in such a way as to deny SALL representation in parliament for 4 years; the very day they brushed aside everything to do the bidding of the NPP on the majority/ minority issues in the 8th parliament, ignoring precedence. Not to mention unanimous SC and other biased behaviours in favour of one political party. So the Judiciary must remember that as they lay their bed, so they will lie on it.

Where have you been since 2008, Mr. Kwaku Ansa Asare? You and the absolute majority of the self-proclaimed NPP intelligentsia class have no principles, moral compass or love for mother Ghana; your hatred for Ghana is showing. Power belongs to the voters and while the judiciary, legislature and the presidency are co-equal branches of government, it is the judiciary, whose members are appointed by the executive branch. So I behoves anyone with logical thinking, principles and morals to accept NPP argument and yours, Kwaku Ansa Asare, that you all can use foul language to insult and curse at the president to no end but think that seeking the truth on a presumed corrupt CJ should not be conducted by a president obligated by the constitution to do so. How foolish must a Ghanaian be to either be a card carrying member of the NPP or buy into the NPP manifesto and follow NPP drum beats to the slaughter house?
