The most deceptive promise campaign ever in the history of our country is the 24 hour economy policy.

One thing many didn't consider, especially the youth who considered the policy and voted for the N.D.C. is that, a company or an institution can not run a 24 hours operation in production if the market demand for it product does not require that working force, until it is able to market the product to that extent.

I was rather expecting a promise for creating foreign market demand for made in Ghana products to increase the market demand, which will automatically call for the 24 hour production.

Let's take few companies for example which did and some are still doing a 24 hours production not under such policy, and they did well, or, are doing well:
1, Cocoa Processing Company, which use to be Chocolate Factory.

2, VALCO,

3, ALUWORKS

4, UNILIVER

5, NESTLE GHANA

6, CROCODILE MATCHET

And again, Banks are ready to finance businesses with the potential of running 24 hours production.

But as smart as the NDC has been, they capitalized on the demand of the youth in making that promise.

The youths are crying for job, and I pray that this promised policy will come to pass.
