This current CJ has been so partisan and biased that it is very difficult to defend her. She should go but the next one must make sure he or she serves the nation. This CJ is a great risk to the nation because some of her political decisions could have resulted in violence in the country. She should go in disgrace.

If a Ghanaian diplomat or tourist has a chilld in n the UK or Togo, that child will be given a birth certificate as proof of birth but will not automatically become a British or Togolose citizen. The same citizenship rules pertain in Ghana.

Chief justice empannelled a team who delivered a ruling at exactly 12pm same day. Before then, the ndc had an injuction to set aside the high court ruling on the Gyekye Quason's case so that while the case was in court, the mp could still act as an mp. The supreme court didnt act on the motion until after the by election. The people of SALL have been denied representation for years, two people have filed petitions at the supreme court. In 2023 and 2024, the petitioners did everything to get the supreme court to sit on the matter , but madam Tokknor ignored them. I can go on and on and on

Justice Gabriel Pwamang is the second longest serving Justice from the list in the story having been appointed by President John Mahama in 2015. The other two Justices were appointed by President Akufo Addo in his first term.

She short-changed her security by spending money that was earmarked for her security on the family, clearly violating the policy on personal leave and the LI underpinning the policy. What at all would have happened if the CJ had allow her security personnel to travel with her -as provided by the policy? That way the security personnel may get some per diem to support his earning to take care of the family. But no! Torkoono want every thing for her family. You see your greed and where it had landed you. Persons in high position should learn to treat their subordinates well. At least give them what they are due if you will not do them any favor. Upon all these, she committed major constitutional blunders.

See the disgrace she has brought to herself, your family, and the office of the CJ. Torkoono will go down in history as the lawless biased emotionally unintelligent female CJ whose greed and avarice led to her impeachment from office.

Justice Baffoe Bonnie is the senior of all of them.He is there since 2008, when president Kuffuor appointed him.He was bypassed by Akuffo Addo, and chose some in the mold of Justice or injustice Torkornoo who was appointed in 2018.In the judiciary, seniority is highly respected but Akuffo Addo ignored this and did this to this country.Baffoe Bonnie will be retiring next year around November, and so if the current CJ is removed,it is only fair that BB is appointed

If the CJ is changed every new political party that wins elections in GHANA will change existing CJ too. And GHANA will be back to square one. If existing CJ rule foolishly in supreme court decisions in a rigged elections then civil war will break out in the country. I know some rich regions in the country will declare themselves independent states or regions .In that case volta and northern regions will be the losers forever because such regions are deprived naturally and have less businesses activities to survive on their own. So president Mahama must thread cautiously about removing the CJ. PRESIDENT MAHAMA future security after 8th.January 2029 too is at stake whether his party will be in power or not.
