The NDC is finding difficulties with prosecutions. The seized excavators are owned by someone or some people in the country, their names can be traced because these seized excavators are registered in the names of their owners. Take a look at Senegal. The ex president of Senegal flew out of the country on the very day he lost the elections. Why? Because he knew the boys will do their job, and they are doing it. Wontumi should have been in jail by now but in politics, the game is different. The foreigners arrested should be given the maximum jail sentence before deportation. As for the Ghanaians, they should also be given maximum sentences. If the government is serious about this galamsey fight, then this is the way to go.
