So if the president is vested with so much power , where is the indepence of the judiciary? One of the reasons a CJ could be removed from office:

A Justice of the Superior Court or a Chairman of a Regional Tribunal shall not be removed from office except for stated misbehaviour or incompetence or on ground of inability to perform the functions of his office arising from infirmity of Body or mind.

While it is an interesting idea to have such a survey, a Chief Justices role is performed in accordance with the constitution and assessments should be in accordance with the constitution and not the whims and caprices of Ghanaians, some of whom may not have had any case before the Chief Justice their entire lives. Also, the distinction between the CJ as a person and the Judiciary are distinct even if related. We should be careful we don't deceive Ghanaians with statistics, which, as I am reminded, reveals a lot but what it hides could also be vital, like a Bikini.
