  "Give Peace a Chance" Its sound as if the people of Bawku have been isolated from the long term conflict which has devastated that part of Ghana. Continous peace talks amoung the factions and stake holders is the solution at the moment. Political interference and undue political partisan politics have added fuel and worsen the ground situation. Bawku must be created as "Buffer Zone" under the watch of "military cum police".

  All professionals working in Bawku must leave for their lives sake. Those people are uncivilised Ghanaians. They are extremely poor but they don’t care about their plight only to fight for chiefs whose children and other family relatives won’t risk their lives. Does chieftaincy increase the size of your daily bread? NO. Government should stop wasting our scarce resources on ancient citizens who care about fighting only. There is nothing to being a chief in the north while they are fooling themselves about it.

  Now, here is what the past NPP government did to ease tension in Bawku. Bawumia being a vice president, and a Mamprusi, was the only government official in the NPP administration which the government thought was enough to represent the Mamprusis.
  
  On the other hand, there were at least 6 Kusasis in the NPP government namely, Fatimatu Abubakar, the information minister, Kpemka, deputy attorney general, Johnson Akrugu, EPA CEO, Abanga, deputy housing mininster, including all the MMCEs. Mahama had the nerve to go and tell the Kussasis that NPP hate them to the core and how many Kussasis have Mahama hired into his government?
  
  Yes, the conflict is old, but Mahama had inflamed it due to his stupid partisan politics. He is the president and why can't go and tell the warring factions to lay down their arms for peace to prevail?
