When he scored the lone goal against Tunisia that sent Ghana into the finals of the 1978 African Cup of nations, The Daily Graphic captioned the match report The Golden Boy with the Golden goal.
In terms playing style, he rather resembles Zinidine Zidane than Diego Maradona.
The Ghanaian player whose playing style was modelled on Maradona playing style was Abedi Pele.
