The midget’s tenure of office did virtually nothing to alleviate the sufferings of Ghana. The evil Akuffo Addo and the NPP is responsible for all these taxes and I hope the current administration will rectify this situation

Mahama complained about too many taxes at the Ports while he was in opposition. The expectation was that, he will cancel all the so-called "obnoxious" taxes as soon as he comes into power. Now, for political convenience, he no longer sees that there are too many taxes at the Ports. His budget made no mention of reducing taxes at the Ports.
Even Covid-19 levies are still on the books, but he was complaining that Covid is over so we don't need that. Yet he conveniently kept in in his Budget. We are still paying the "too many taxes" at the Ports. Those were cheap political talk just to hoodwink the gullible voters. Now they are facing the realities and dragging their feet about abolishing the so-called "obnoxious" taxes. Even when they abolished e-levy and betting taxes, they have replaced them with 3 additional taxes. Indeed, TALK IS CHEAP. Hypocritical politicians will continue to take us for a ride all the time. And the Fool Soldiers will continue to clap for them.

The hypocrisy of Ghanaians who couldn't ask NanaAddo to remove the taxes He imposed. Now they have all of a suddenly found their voices. These taxes have been there for years under NPP Govt and people were just mute. Hypocrisy, tribalism, nepotism, partisan politics, corruption, injustice, mismanagement and religion is what's hindering Ghana from developing.

Did Mahama campaign to remove those taxes or not? He was matching Bawumiah's promise to make Tema Port duty free like Lome. He won by that promise so he must deliver on that promise.

So long as Ghana is not producing automobiles on a large scale like Japan, China, Korea, USA, no one with a working brain should have made it so difficult for people to import vehicles.
You buy a used car from Europe and have to pay FIVE TIMES the price of the vehicle to clear it! WOW! Africans. Are you normal at all?
