  I am afraid Democracy has failed in Africa. But common sense should tell you that a system that has enslaved you, robbed you of your wealth ,your humanity can’t be the only system to Save you. You need to have your own system to pull you out of poverty , slave mentality, inferiority complexes and the another evil Neo- colonialist ideology or mindsets.   Impunity and corruption thrive because our politicians are greedy, selfish and crooks. Politics has become the fastest way to get rich in Ghana, and because politicians protect each other, they steal and loot with impunity. Right now, Mahama is not showing any indication he is interested in fighting corruption. The NPP protected him and his cohorts from any persecution, and it is now pay back time to reward them by protecting them from their malfeasance. Four years will go by and some of these NPP scoundrels will either walk free or have court cases that will never be litigated before they die.
