  Discipline is broken in the whole country and it is just not only in our schools, and the churches and politicians using radio stations and the media in general as tools, are responsible for the breakdown of discipline in the country. For the last 20 years, these people have shaped what we believe and how we act. Often uneducated but having a large following, they have brainwashed their followers into believing what they say. They steal and rob the poor, and control the minds of people. Until we free ourselves from the claws of these people, we can never think and act appropriately for our own benefit and for the benefit of the country in general. One way to break this cycle is to have dedicated LEADERS and not simply ministers and presidents, but people who will lead by example and put the country first. People willing to sacrifice their own lives for the good of the country.

  When a government fails, the country fails. As a neutral individual, I find it sad to see members of the opposition trying to discredit the government in all ways. Constantly attacking every decision the government takes. The electioneering campaign is over, and there is a new administration so as a nation we back our government to succeed unless there is evidence of wrongdoing. We seem to be standing still and in some cases, retrogressing because of our politicians. Let’s stop the NPP/ NDC nonsense and back whichever government we elect. Stop the idiotic party political nonsense because If the government succeeds, the country succeeds. It is as simple as that. Discipline starts in our political discourse and in our churches. Be truthful in all ways to the people otherwise, don’t lead.

Students still go on suspensions and are made to work such as digging pit, weeding, washing of pantry bowls etc. Many of the students are discipline in their activities. Caning is not a solution. Some students even collect the cane and break it in front of the teacher and students. I'm a teacher and I know what I'm talking about. Despite all these indiscipline stories, do you hear schools like Mfantsipim, Presec, Wesley girls and others involved? Let's engage the students often. Let's see them as stakeholders and engage them. That slave-master style is acaic.
