If you live next door to the recruitment site in Accra and you don’t have connections you will NEVER get in. The same will apply for recruitment sites anywhere else in Ghana! You should know that many of the youth have already been brainwashed by their elders. They surely may take advantage of their employment in the service to possession of legal arms to perpetuate war crimes.

The IGP may have good intentions because he wants to end the conflict, however, his promise can also be a call for disaster and bad, as some of the potential recruited combants will even take advantage of their presence in the Police Service to commit more mayhem in the conflict. So are we going to be promising all combatantants in al conflicts area @ Alavayno- Nkoyna, Tsito-Peki, etc to lay down arms and be recruited in the security services???
